Creating New levels and New Monsters (Screenshots)

I have created some new levels for Sparkle Panda Rainbow Hunter!

This level is known as The Rainbow Mansion! Each "floor" of the mansion is based on a different color of the rainbow. 

There are also some new enemies that arrive in the mansion. Of course The Rainbow Mansion is now haunted since the Bad Moods have taken over. So there are GHOSTS to avoid. Don't worry, You  can blast them with your Sparkles if they get too close for comfort!

I decided to make ammo limited but also have many re-ups available throughout the game. Sometimes I let the Sparkles run out and scarcity creates a new approach to completing the board.

In addition to the Ghosts there are also these robotic Stinger Guys who shoot a copy of themselves at Sparkle Panda!!
These guys are tough! You can defeat their copies with one Sparkle Blast but to eliminate the Stinger Bot themselves will take 4 shots from your Sparkles!! REMEMBER, Use your ammo wisely !! These Stinger Bot guys were fun to design. I wanted them to look like robotic wasp or bee type of creature. How do you guys think they turned out? I'm still working on the colors for the copies that come after Sparkle Panda.



When you get to the Red Floor of the Rainbow Mansion you will encounter these lil guys! They are Dodge Bots. Great at dodging and equipped with a jump attack, these robotic henchmen will be tough to beat. Sometimes you might want to just run by. This time Sparkle Panda decides to Blast this Bad Mood Bot with her Sparkles! I may make these guys even tougher by giving them a few more hit points. If Sparkle Panda needs to shoot them multiple times it will make you think twice before shooting and maybe you will just attempt to dodge the Dodge Bots.


You can try and outrun the Ghosts in order to save your Sparkles, but You may need to Blast one or two of them to get by safely.
The Ghosts can travel through the walls and catch you off guard. Be careful in Rainbow Mansion!



Thanks for following along on this development. This is my first game I've designed. I am using NESMaker tool to do all the work so far.
I have created all the pixel art and sprites, enemies and obstacles myself.
I am getting the music from some great 8bit composers as well.
